Food Tests: How To Test For Protein | Biology Practicals

Hazel and Emilia demonstrate the food test to test for the presence of protein. To carry out this test, mix the food sample with Biuret reagent, shake, and if protein is present a purple solution will form.

we can also add sodium hydoxide + coppersulphate for testing protein

Shouldn't it be with copper sulphate(CuSO4) solution and caustic sode(NaOH)?

Why you didnt use 5cm cube of dilute sodium hydroxide and 5 cm cube of copper sulfate
