The fact that you hear the scream and anger that a voice actor has done who has not usually brought up over their lungs as loud as they can is so fearing and brings up the hype over what's coming.

The fact that Mario just holds the picture of the best friend reward…really shows how much Mario actually cares about SMG4, like rewind back to WOTFI 2022, when smg4 said it was time for him to go, Mario have smg4 a genuine hug and cried, this shows how much Mario’s friends actually mean to him, especially smg4, it’s like loosing a person that you care about a lot.

I feel like one thing getting overshadowed in all this is SMG3 being fully realized as an anti-hero in this arc. This past month has shown his overall (unforced) kindness in helping 4 out, hosting his sponsored ad commercials, and being genuinely nice in this episode. I love that they didn't just make him "good" after the genesis arc, but allowed him to accel in his own category within the graveyard making his growth come from his self confidence rather than a place of pride

Interesting to note that Mario showed a lot of his growth in this episode.
While the day was centered and themed around him, he didn't make it as self-aggrandising as he could of, instead making fun games for his friends to play with him. Even his main event was to spotlight someone he cared about, rather than himself.

To see SMG4 of all people snap so hard just scares me. and Mario was genuinely hoping for SMG4 to come, and he got this instead. in the end we see the entire crew (Minus Melony Either because she's not part of the group or is too lazy to bother coming) and Mario really sad and Mario's just there clutching his Best Friend award just breaks my soul.

Can’t believe Mario got betrayed like that.He made a nice piece of art and was going to give it to him and all SMG4 did was yell at him because of the wifi being off and the “perfect video” i almost cried seeing Mario so sad his friend was yelling poor Mario SMG4 also ruined Mario’s special party Mario probably was so happy to give it to him but then he cried in sadness 😢
