What people are forgetting is that 50% of the people who live in small-town USA don't have a driveway, or a dedicated parking space. They have to park on the street. They have to fight for their parking spot each day. How are these people going to charge their electric vehicle? Am I supposed to run an extension cord 40 feet over the sidewalk to charge it every day? What if someone trips? Am I responsible? EV's may continue to improve, but how is everyone who is not in the middle class going to charge them?

All fun and games until you wake up in the morning and realized that you forgot to plug-in your Tesla overnight.

The thought of queuing for a charging station and then waiting again for my car to charge just horrifies me. Where I am in Hong Kong, I see Tesla drivers waiting their turn for charging stations at shopping mall car parks. I do not understand why anyone would buy an EV if they do not have access to overnight charging. They must have too much time on their hands.

A few tesla car crashes lately had the cars on fire 🔥 and they just kept burning as the fire dept kept spraying it.They completely melted down flat.

Western Canada suffered through a very harsh winter this last year and there were scores of people stranded on the side of the road in -40c weather who traded their EVs in and said never again

For me the upfront costs of EV's will not give you a return for many many years! I'm not convinced they're cheaper. Even in my state if you have a EV there's an additional higher registration fee and you pay a separate road tax. This state does not let you off the hook for road tax just bc you don't purchase gasoline. Most states do this. Buy a good used car $5k, fix it yourself and roll on! Best advice i can give.

I've driven several different Electric cars, and apart from the range and charging problems, I find them characterless and boring, heartless and, In me, they evoke zero excitement or emotion. I'm with Scotty, quite frankly, I'd rather go by motorcycle, or even a bus.

Batteries don't survive well in hot or cold climates. Heat and cold kill batteries. So you can eliminate that swath of potential buyers.

I'm sitting here listening to this and the more he go on about it the less I want to listen to it I'll stick with my gas powered car it never cease to amaze me how American car companies can attempt to make EV cars when they never or able to properly manufacture gas powered cars they manufacture cars now knowing that they have flaws and they send them to the dealership so when you buy them you are responsible to fix the flaw that they created
