Avowed Review - Not Pillars of Eternity But Pretty Darn Good
In this Avowed Review, I'm going to be talking about my experience having played about 100 hours of this game so far. I had a lot of fun playing it. It was tons of fun. I think the average player will probably get closer to around 80 hours out of it. I explored seeing the different endings and different outcomes of different quests, so I reloaded a lot and also experimented around with a lot of builds and things like that.

Everyone is slagging this game, but I'm really enjoying it. Yes, the Pillars series is one of my favorites of all time so I have bias there, it's not as good as those but it's extremely different, it's almost a different genre. I'm extremely happy to have a continuation as we're unlikely to get a 3rd top down. I've not had a single crash in 18hrs, I'm assuming the newer graphics driver.

Playing early the last few days on my Alienware laptop. I upgraded to premium on Xbox game pass to play early. I have been have a great time. The game is really fun. It reminds me of enshrouded. I haven't had a single crash, glitch or bug. The game has run perfectly smooth. Definitely recommend if you like this type of game. Dont listen to the bad reviews.

An honest review that details both the good as well as the bad. There's never a wonder on my end why I keep coming back here. Not to mention the helpful tips outside of the reviews.
There are unfortunately too many things here that I don't feel make this deserving of a purchase, but there is enough here for those who may like this to be convinced to make a purchase.

I remember playing KCD 1 when it just came out: it crashed all the time, it had weird and quirky design decisions, and I had a game-breaking bug that prevented me from moving past the first half of the main quest. If I listen to the complaints against Avowed being imperfect, then I should have demanded my money back for KCD 1. I'm glad I didn't and gave the studio a chance to create something great. Let's hope Avowed gets the same chance.

finally someone else that actually likes it! I’ve literally been so confused why everyone online has been HATING it. I had to search “positive” review to find this vid and it was still like the only one. I’m only in Fior and probably about 25 hours in I absolutely love it. I’m a huge fan of Skyrim and this is the first game that’s given me the same feeling. I’m obsessed! I love reading every book and every note and finding every little piece of loot (yes i tried to get everything down to each plant before i left the first zone) haha thanks for the vid. refreshing!
