After watchin your Gotham by Gaslight video, I think you would like Gotham 1919-1939. It's a series of YouTube videos (Based on an unoficial book) reimagining Batman and his mithos in the 1930's. I really recomend them, they are amazing.

That Knightfall series is the one that should be told in animated form. Of all the animations DC has produced, The Death of Superman/Reign of Supermen series, and the Knightfall series, are the 2 series that are the most deserving of animated movies.
