I was told to hate it when it first came along in 2016, being mocked as the "emoji bar". I now use it a lot for the macOS screen recorder for education video making on which the bar displays the duration & stop button while giving me the add-ons for Preview, the program being recorded. Moreover, I enjoy using the word-correction function & suggested emojis with the apps-specific functionality. Tons of people here on YouTube swallow what others spit.

how did you get pock's control strip to be in a different spot? the control center doesn't seem to have the sliders but i'd like to move the control strip.

I will give Apple credit for trying something other computer manufactures never have. It's not perfect, but I do (personally) like my Touch Bar. But I had to get a Mac with a physical escape button. That was a non-negotiable.
