I spend at least 6 hours a day sourcing, and sometimes 8 hours, and may only find $300-$600 worth of stuff. It sucks; but because it has gotten so competitive with other local resellers since the pandemic, I now have to spend all day sourcing. In the past I could source for 2 or 3 hours and go home and list. Sadly, the competition has gotten very fierce when it comes to sourcing. I miss the old days.

It's crazy how cheap your local Goodwill's are. The local DC Chapter is greedy and price things sky high and send everything to the warehouse when donated and will kick it back to the store if it isn't profitable enough for online. We have the worst Goodwill's.

Amazing finds! I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, being from New York City it appears that you can eat off the floors at the various thrift stores that you go to. Meanwhile, in New York City you could probably still catch bubonic plague off the floors here in our thrift shops.

Nice thrift store finds! Reasonable prices too! Every time I go to one, the restocking carts are swarming with online Resellers and Dealers from the local antique mall.

It must be nice rolling around empty thrift stores with fresh racks of items just sitting there. Where I live, the thrift stores are packed all day long, and when a new cart comes out, people push and shove to get to them. It's like flies on sheit! Resellers are Everywhere. If I hadn't been in the game for 25 years on Ebay, I would never have a chance. Don't even get me started on the increase in prices. FYI, I'm in Oregon.

Dustin, the people in your area certainly donate some great things. Here on the east coast ( Rhode Island) our Good Will stores are so different. They are never well stocked like yours are and most of the items are heavily used. They are also quite dirty and disorganized. I never find items in boxes. So happy for you that you have many stores to pick.
