Fun anecdote:
My sister is legally blind (but pretty much normal vision with glasses.)
Early in their relationship, she and her boyfriend (who has very low vision that glasses can't help) played Mario Kart. To even the playing field, she took off her galsses and they both sat about 3 inches from the TV, with me and my other sister yelling very unhelpful directions from the sidelines. It was amazing.
They're engaged now. <3
