Awesome fact that he carried his pregnant wife and his children shows that he's an incredible husband and father. However, remember if the water's too high, don't try it

Here's a clue of awareness. Just look at the bridge piers, each pier is approximately over a foot in height. Whenever, you see water overflowing over the pier don't drive over it! Use your math.

She can rest assure she picked a good man and they have a real Father. 🏆
The last time this happened I got caught on the Davison freeway by myself. It took 2 hours for my boyfriend to get to me when it would normally take 10 mins. Mother Nature is a force to be reckoned with. Terrifying

Kudos to the guy for saving his wife and kids. Now you know. Here in Minnesota, we learn where to drive and where not to drive during major snow events, now you know to stick to high ground.

A job except he chose the wrong thing to drive through that much water car/truck is just a machine and it should be treated like one it can't swim... Now he has no truck three kids a pregnant wife with a baby on the way life is going to get pretty tough, may God bless the plan

I lived down the street. This happens many times during heavy rains. People just think they can make it and try all the time.

While firefighters down in Miami are risking their lives to save people from that collapsed building, these firefighters are scared to get their feet wet.

I was in this mess this morning. There were thousands of cars stuck. It happens often because Detroit has an outdated sewer system. This happens more often than you think here in the motor city.

Smh I do not understand why do we go through this every single year we got plenty of people paying taxes into our state. There is no reason why we should have flooding every year in the same locations over and over and over again. Now on the other hand I'm on a street where the neighbors don't clean the drain in front of the house or sweep their curb and they wonder why its flooded. I always go down 4 house an clean the drain for them but not today! Today is the day there going to learn on my streets! When is our state going to fix this problem??? There is no reason why we pay homeowners insurance and rental insurance and those companies give us a hard time when flooding in the state occures.. Its just Ridiculous!!!

When there are in some.cases 7 inches of rain within 24 hrs no infrastructure can handle it. For what the situation was we fared well!

What come on never drive into water. My wife would have said turn this truck around MR. Hahaha. If you are going to drive into water have water seals on everything. You're every day truck/car doesn't swim.
