Just when you couldn’t think they could be more unelectable… Never let these scumbags in ever again after the next GE.

"just accept a lower standard of living" he says.

I can't think of anything less seasonal than canned baked beans.

Being out of touch with the electorate is part of the essential job description of a Tory MP.
Save money, buy Fortnum’s own brand and reuse your hamper.

"Is this Tory MP out of touch or-" Lemme stop you right there. You don't need a second option, it's the first one.

The supermarket branded stuff has also gone up or a lot of places have STOPPED stocking them to force people to buy the branded ones
they have also had the effect of packets getting smaller but prices going UP
He is not just out of touch with reality he is in another universe
Also it hasnt been called ''Tesco value'' for 6 years

Things are getting so bad the Tories are now concern trolling about the environmental damage of a healthy economy

The cheapest ranges of foods have the highest increases. M&S prices have had the smallest increases that I've noticed. We're all in the same boat though🙄

Wasnt the point of capitalism that we'd all have choice?

I love the way he is talking about “environmental impact” when they have left the gigantic market on our doorstep to do piddly little deals on the other side of the World!

Also love how when nurses have to go to food banks, it's "financial mismanagement" and they need budgeting lessons. But Boris needing an 800k loan is "understandable"

He says this while he has subsidised food in Parliament and also MPs get a food allowance of £5k. It really is one rule for them...

So in simple terms, don't worry about the price of everything, youre just buying oranges out of season.

... he does realise all food has gone up right?

What he's really saying is "accept that your standard of living is going down"

The foods that have seen the steepest increase are the budget foods.
If you're already buying budget/value/own brand, where do you go to?
I detest this lazy Tory opinion.
