The Tragic Death Of Prince Philip

Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, passed away on April 9, 2021. The royal family issued a statement on the day of his death and said that he died peacefully at Windsor Castle.

Before his death, he was admitted to a private hospital in London in February. It was reported at the time as a precautionary measure and he was being monitored for a pre-existing heart condition. He was released soon after, but less than a month later he passed away. He died just a couple of months short of his 100th birthday.

Don't know if I will call this a "tragic" death. He was 99 years old with a heart problem, 2 months from 100. If I live to that age and experience half of what he have, then I would call that a good life.

Man youtubers sure toss around the word 'Tragic" a LOT! There is nothing Tragic about this. This man had an amazing life AND was blessed to live 100yrs. It should be a celebration of his life. Also Prince Phillip and Princess Diana were very close right to the end of her life. This was proven by letters found after her death. The two of them were sending letters of moral support to each other often.

It's always sad to lose someone you love and I'm certain his family will miss him. That being said, there is nothing tragic about his death. He lived 15-20 years past the average human's lifespan, he and his spouse enjoyed a marriage that lasted far longer than almost anyone else's marriage, and he apparently died peacefully. If anything, it was a fairy tail life and death. However, my condolences to his family.
