Cool video. I just filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy; will finalize end of the year.. wish I could go back and redo somethings; negotiate send in 609 letters etc.. but it’s about done.

I was able to keep my 42k home ; worth 140k currently in my market. Pittsburgh PA. I’ve wanted to start a non profit for bot only low income assistance, but also helping clean the community. Everywhere you look there’s trash. Unlike any state or city I’ve seen before.

I’ve considered selling my home with inflation. However I’m worried about being able to obtain another home loan. Ill need some extra cash. Maybe this non profit is a creative way to help with my expenses.

3 Questions¨So I can put my 6 unit apt building as Low income Rental, owned by my non Profit 501 c 3 and from the rental income pay myself a salary. The salary is considered wages and taxable under my individual Tax Return 1040 right? ? And what if I want to sell the Apt. building. Do I have to reinvest the profit into another Real estate low income affordable rental? or can the proceeds be used for another endevaur? and 3rd, Does my Non profit has to pay Capital Gains tax or any tax? I do understand from personal asset protection view it's protected. However, what if the lawsuit is against the private foundation itself? e.g. Rental inside the private foundation got sued by a tenant or 3rd parties?

If you are starting a private operating foundation in California with 3 people, all of which are on the board, and all of which are also going to be employees/officers can we all be paid a salary eventually while also being the only 3 on the board as long as it is fair?
