Do the Gods hear our silent prayers? When no words are used...do the Gods still hear us and honor the ritual the same?

Good points. While I don't think only going over prayers in our mind is as "desirable" to he Gods, I do think they can discern what you are thinking if you will it to be so. I don't think they are reading minds from afar, but rather, can "hear" thought directed their way. As good as praying out loud? Probably not. Spoken words have power all to themselves. Would the Gods ignore those of us who are mute? No, also certainly not. I'm sure they hear the mute and give equal standing to their silent prayers as they would the spoken.
