Borondir was one of six riders sent out by Steward Cirion to seek the aid of the Northmen when the Balchoth threatened Gondor's northern borders. He was the only one to reach Eorl the Young alive, and brought him the Red Arrow and the Seal of the Stewards. On the journey South, he showed knowledge of Lothlórien; he understood the strange mist they had to pass was not magic from Dol Guldur, but rather an effort by Galadriel to stop such magic.

Borondir brought the Northmen to the Battle of the Field of Celebrant, but did not survive the battle. His body was taken to the Silent Street, and his name and deeds were remembered in song: Rochon Methestel, "Rider of Last Hope".

The horse was so beautiful and acted better than most actors in the series Rings of Power. Great fighting scene!

Credit for accurate historical fencing goes to Borek Belfín, the protagonist of the film, who also created the choreography. He´s a HEMA fighter, founder of the DIGLADIOR school of longsword and a pioneer of Czech historical fencing in general. And he´s a lot of fun too! ;)

Wow, just wow. This doesn't feel or look like a fan film at all. The attention to detail, the costume and set designs are amazing. You can clearly see this is a work of passion, it really comes through in the final film. I really hope this goes viral and you get tons of views, you all deserve it!

Along with the story of Aragorn and his parents, this is one of the best LOTR fan-films I have ever seen! Well done you guys. You would've done Tolkien proud.

This is absolutely one of the great passages is Tolkien's "history" that (sadly like most of it) is not widely known. And this is probably the best fan film there is. It's absolutely outstanding. The fight scene alone should make Hollywood die of shame. Acting, costumes, everything's superb.

That gorge where Borondir blows the horn is very like how I imagine Nargothrond or Menegroth. A gorgeous gorge (sorry).

I am avid for any Tolkien related productions and have just discovered this! What a masterpiece, with probably almost no budget and a minimal production team! Amazon, with all their billions, pale in comparison to this and they have much to learn from you. The music, the costumes, the actors, the gravitas, the surroundings, the light, the swordfight, the dialogue, all feel right, feel as they are supposed to... It is a wonderful feeling to know now that there is the "Horn of Gondor", a fitting tribute to Tolkien, paired with "The Hunt for Gollum" and "Born of Hope". Thank you for this and I will share it wherever I can and donate!

I like how this feels more like the world of the books, not the movies. Makes it feel more unique.

That was awesome, easily the best LOTR fan film ive seen, it wasn’t a gimmick and the orcs and balchoth man weren’t just your average cockney ‘walk with a weird limp’ guys. Was really refreshing to see an LOTR story done so well!

HOLY COW GUYS.
Not since the fan films "Born of Hope" and "Hunt for Gollum" have I had such chills--if not more so! The costumes! The makeup! Your actors! The scenes set-up. It has the essence of Jackson's films with the spirit of Tolkien. It was so staggeringly beautiful and well done. Bravo! Bravo!
