So good. Dr Kwon (my spirit-animal) once again explains in words better than anyone in my 65 years on this planet, the feeling of a a good golf swing. Dr Kwon has upped my coaching game like no other!

Firstly, I would again like to thank Dr Kwon as he’s changed my game for the better, /forever, and I’ve stopped listening to all the ‘noise’ other golf ‘coaches’ who either don’t know, or can’t verbalise the wisdom he has 👏👏👏. One question I have, on watching all previous videos he has done I have ‘interpreted’ the backswing as not only what is described in these illustrations but also a bending of the left knee which tilts the pelvis towards the target so that when the downswing starts all I have to do is drop my arms down, rotate the body and push upwards with the left leg to generate the power, is this correct??
Keep up the great work 👍

Ever since I implemented Dr. Kwon's methods on my golf swing I managed to hit every club further and faster. I usually hit an 8 iron at 120 yards, now I hit 150 yards average without a forceful swing.

And my drives now are much more powerful and further than ever.

truly amazing. thank you for sharing this helps us golfers a lot

Love these videos. On issue - the sound is often hard to pick up. Perhaps a microphone attached to the good doctor!

Here is a sports dot that has yet to be connected. I play Ice Hockey goalie up here in Canada 30 years high level. Watch how a modern goalie moves in net, this is how we move. Everything laterally and back and forth is opposite foot pressure and its all a continuous motion. Due to my experience as a goalie and connecting these dots thanks to you guys I am using the tools I already have developed for decades on the ice. let me tell you! its insane how much better I got. I'm' essentially now just moving right to left in the goal crease up and down left and right power sliding using the skate edges and foot pressure along with this continuous motion to gather a release the stored energy without suddenly stopping and destroying your body. luv this Channel

The veteran pro I go to at our range, who has told me previously that he considers Dr. Kwon to be a genius, told me just the other day that Dr. Kwon's illustration and explanation of the longer moment arm between the center of mass and the combined ground force arrow creating increased lateral torque and thus swing speed was a concept he had never before thought of in just those terms, and that he now thinks it is perhaps the key, number one element to focus on in his instruction. He showed me that there are times when I have erred by spinning too much with the right, trail hip, basically putting myself into the position of the second golfer that Dr. Kwon shows here.

To me, Dr Kwon's message is essentially, "lateral acceleration of the COM (Center of Mass), both clockwise (backswing), and counterclockwise (downswing) is the catalyst of torque". His illustrations of the two tour players really brought it home for me. Player A had significantly more torque, and you noticed the distance between his COM and the "force" was far greater than that of Player B. More torque, then "kick the ground" with the left foot, then sending bombs down range.

Dr Kwon has explained the physics (dynamics) of the Mike Austin swing. The efficiency (and accuracy) of swinging a pendulum vs. a metronome.

Yes. Dr. Kwon idea perfect for producing efficient force on the ball or smash factor. But what about consistensy?

I'm building a golf simulator in my garage and was wondering if there is some way for me to compare my swing/body movement to what Dr. Kwon is showing on the TV screen? Thanks Jim Kramer

Can you ask dr kwan his thoughts on lifting the left heel on the backswing to achieve hip depth and turn

To summarize the first ten minutes: The step drills train your body to maximize the length of the moment arm.

This seems similar to the pivoting motion Mike Austin promoted.

so refreshing to see the use of the term Center of Mass, not "gravity"

Could you Brandon, describe the in your words what the Doctor is trying to explain in this video. I almost have it, but not really. Thanks!.

Is player B John Daly? He's the only player I know on the champions tour with that long of a backswing. 🤣

Hmm, so weight-shifting stack and tilt? I know this doesn't make sense (as stt tells you not to shift but stack) but it looks like it.
