Let's me guess, the Chimera parasite is a techologgical nanite and bio technologgy hybrid that can adapt and evolve constainly through absort the other creature DNA. The human DNA gave them the structure, the other animal DNA gave them the abilty. All of this problem cause by a random space sutter, seem made by human, fall from space. End.
