I just had this problem! Not sure if your bus has a vandalock system, but if you've removed or cut any cables, try grounding them to the frame of the bus, or replace any negative cables connected to the battery :) best of luck man <3

I suggest getting a dmm and doing a starter voltage drop test after ensuring your batteries are charged

I think you need a battery or a new starter, a bad alternator or cables shouldn’t stop it from cranking up. Try jumping the battery and starting it before moving to the starter.

Did you ever fix your fuel filter? You need better tools, man, or get some power tools

All your alternator does is charge you battery why would the alternator be keeping it from starting start at the positive battery cable and follow it
