Thanks, I didn't know about this method. What I usually did was to select Curves / then second dropper (grey) and started clicking in different areas, trying to achieve an acceptable result.

Nice video, thanks 🙂. If you would be able to, can you please make a video on removing vitiligo. My mom who has naturally darker skin (East Indian) and has vitiligo and is asking if I can remove all the lighter parts and make it back to her natural skin colour in our family photos. I couldn't find any videos except for someone who did a timelapse of his retouching but doesn't mention the process. I believe he used mostly cloning tool and healing brush but the process wasn't shown. Thanks.

I saw what you did with the two bottom sliders, but I didn’t get the science behind it. The explanation at 0:58 seems kinda hand wavy.

Edit: After watching the video a few more times and paying close attention to the bottom sliders, I now believe that the top one shows the input/original colors in the image, while the bottom one shows the output/modified colors as a result of moving the top 3 sliders. So, the range that you adjusted does not modify the colors, it only determines what colors are being modified.
