Thank you Sir, am new in remote sensing and i was looking for videos that i could use as tutorials, believe me of all the hundreds of youTube videos i came across your tutorials stand out in terms of flow of information and the speed of the the videos. It's great that the OP took the time to prepare this video, but it seems to me that it's unnecessarily complicated.

(1) Draw a rectangle on the Google Earth screen: save the coordinates to a KML.

(2) Use the KML to georeference the rectangle.

Those of us who use QGIS can also take advantage of the GEarthView plugin, which provides significant real-time interactivity between QGIS layers and Googe Earth... that helps with the rectangle, since there is no native Google Earth method to draw an exact rectangle. In GE, unless you're careful you can't guarantee that your quadrilateral is a rectangle. In QGIS another plugin ensures that rectangles are exact in the working SRS (which should be set to 4326 so that it matches Google Earth).

What's the difference of using google earth imagery and USGS Landsat imagery?? Can v not perform spatial analysis tools on google earth image??

Thank you for the video, but after georeferencing and deleting all and want to reopen it, it seems that the image does not stick into points that were earlier set. What would be the problem? it indicates that it is required to be reset. Isn't it like that? Thank you in advance.

Upon rectifying the image and clicking on the save option, an error is coming up saying "failed to save raster dataset". Secondly, the image upon georeferencing looks slightly skewed. Please provide solution

All of your videos have been very interesting. I want ask 1 question can u plz tell that how the point file off patients in different polygon can be made for example 217 patiens point data in one polygon and 179 patiens point data in ther polygone etc

This seems to be a very good tutorial. However I would like to ask you, can we do the Geo Referencing and give the image a UTM coordinate system? and if we do can. Is this tutorial shows Geo referencing in UTM Geographic system already ? Thank you so much, an answer or response would be highly appreciated..

Hi this is Ali. hope you wil be doing well. I want to put the question that in your google earth to surfer program. you showed that u can load the KML file into TCX converter than u will have X and Y coordinates. but not elevation after updating than u will have. i did the same but could not get elevation istead a word "OCTYOP" what is the solution???

Hi, many thanks for this informative tutorial. I followed all your instructions, however, when I imported the google earth image into Arcmap, all the tools under image classification were not active, and so I am unable to perform iso cluster and maximum likelihood. Equally the training sample is not active. what could be the problem? I have ended up using layer properties and symbology. Thanks in advance for your guidance

Hello, I can't understand the idea while adding the control point. It says collinear will form while adjusting third point. As I know more than three control points are necessary for accurate Geo-referencing. how can I get the idea about iy?
