This was the same year that Jamie Foxx won the Oscar for 'Best Actor' for "Ray". Jamie Foxx did an incredible job as Ray Charles, but Don Cheadle deserved the award. His performance and dedication to role, to bring to life the struggles of the "refugees", who, btw, we're being refugees from they're own people/ "government". Made it so much more.

Mdu emotionally narrates from The hustlers corner with Dj Sbu, how he got this part as a lieutenant & how it propelled his career. Iconic scene.

Just so you know the man Don Cheadle is playing was recently tricked into getting onto a plane that took him back to Rwanda where he was arrested on terrorism charges and is not allowed to see a lawyer.

AA living in Rwanda now. Amazing to see the way things have turned around since that time. The unity and sense of community is palatable. If I didn't know, I wouldn't know. President Kagame has worked a true miracle This country, and the people of it, are beautiful.
