US releases video of Chinese warship passing extremely close to US destroyer | DW News

The US Navy has released a video of a Chinese warship crossing closely in front of a US destroyer in a flashpoint waterway. The incident in the Taiwan Strait, which the US has called unsafe, comes amid worsening ties between Washington and Beijing.

Let's be honest. If China regularly sailed its warships 50 or 60km offshore San Diego, US warships will do the same. Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you.

Guam, Hawaii, San Diego, Florida, and other places also have international waters around them. If Chinese military planes and ships cruised in these international sea and air spaces, the United States would have jumped up decades ago. The real meaning of freedom spoken in the United States mouth is that “I am free, you are not”😂

To be fair, if someone constantly walks around my house with weapons & suveillance instruments and claim that it is his "navigation freedom", I will expel him for sure. It is an agressive behaviour which can't be justified.

In 2021 US military planes flew more than 1200 missions close to the 12 nautical miles of Chinese borders. That’s an average of 3 a day. Curious if the Chinese did the same to US west coast if the western media will give the same latitude to the Chinese as they give to the US.
