I use my Surface Duo 1 as my secondary device. I don't use cell service on it, only wireless, but it allows me to be notified of an email without being near my PC. I do like it very much.

D1 just doesn't have nfc. That's important for me

One BIG glaring problem. It's too big for use as a phone. Galaxy Z Fold 1, 2 and 3 for the win.

It should be a primary device, it will never make sense to pay that much for a secondary device. If it doesn't do everything I wont buy it.
