Various games like Quake and TF2 have been using last input priority null canceling movement scripts for well over a decade without issues. These games also have movement mechanics that far exceed ADAD spam and "stopping at the right moment" and take hundreds, in some cases thousands of hours to master.

If a games movement can be exploited to gain an advantage so easy through a simple null movement script, that's not the problem of the null movement script. It's a problem of the game. More specifically a problem with modern game developers being #1 too uncreative and lazy and #2 too afraid to implement _actual_ movement mechanics into their games fearing it will frustrate casual players with a steep learning curve.

No, ADAD spam and "stopping at the right moment so the crosshair resets" are not movement mechanics. They're boring, lazy, half-assed attempts at movement mechanics.

Imagine your games "movement mechanics" to be so superficial they are exploitable through 20 lines of code. LMAO @ modern game devs.

The strafing mechanic is the unrealistic mechanic that makes me dislike CS.

Never had an issue with overlap in fact I thought I was reading things wrong from the Razer website thinking I didn't comprehend what it was saying but sure enough after this video (thank you for the explanation by the way) it seems that maybe I'm just lucky and don't have that issue and other people do. But I do have an issue with that others don't is accidentally hitting keys thus why I stick with my razor Tartarus pro. That thumbstick allows me to use my thumb to choose to operate four different buttons in an instant. I don't think this is cheating. I think it's the way of the future. I used a xim Apex on r6 siege on PlayStation because my hands kept shaking and I couldn't play any other way, then I bought a computer? Was I cheating?. Well I asked Ubisoft at the time at their support if it was and they gave me the okay but that was before all these other peripherals started circumventing their anti-cheat ( Ubisoft could detect cheats at the time they gave me the okay from the xim). The rule of thumb for cheating as I understand it is is as long as it's not automation or trying to fool the game engine, You're good and it's not cheating.

So a long term question, will these hardware and firmware changes to keyboards be something that takes over the competitive sphere of gaming or will it be considered cheating/tool assisted gameplay? In the case of "It's here to stay", when would be a good time to actually make an investment in one of these keyboards seeing as they are new and the technology is being worked on, aka when do we think the tech will stabilize so that you dont have to consider upgrading 3 times a year?

for razer's snap tap they turn off the rapid trigger on other keys but wooting's socd still has the rapid trigger on so you can say wooting still does it better lol
