We were all curious to find out what your experience was going to be and we're super thrilled with your opinion! It's awesome that you were able to highlight the niche benefits in movement with the customized actuation points and rapid trigger. It takes a skilled player to bring this forward and is difficult for us to communicate. 🤩

Tachyon mode is freaking out on you due to the coiled cable you use. The coiled cable length vs thickness is not proficient for our requirements when running RGB at full brightness and turning on Tachyon mode. Tachyon mode and especially RGB LED draw a lot more power. When using a thinner/longer cable, it'll not be able to steadily keep up the required voltage causing it to faux activate the hall sensors (keys).

When you lower the brightness to approximately 50-70% (depending on your cable quality), it'll stabilize. The stock cable that comes with the 60HE can easily handle any scenario in tachyon mode with brightness at 100%. Coiled and low quality cables (often) just can't handle it at full brightness.

We are looking into how we can better this scenario, so that the end-user will not face a ?? and we (automatically) compensate for the cable quality. In long term, we are still learning what we might be able to do hardware-wise to compensate.

This is why i love optimum tech reviews, i have watched about 10 reviews of this keyboard and no one has demonstrated the practical use of these features with actual scenarios playing valorant, apex or other games and the benefits of the different actuation points with movement mechanics. Everyone seems to just read the tech specs from a script nowadays. Unfortunately Ali is not always the first but waiting for his reviews is always worth it.

The Tachyon mode not working properly might be because of your custom cable. Tachyon mode requires more power to be delivered to the board which your cable might not be up to. Try it with the stock cable to see if this is the problem.

Got my hands on the Wooting 60HE+ thanks to your channel and I can confidently say that this is the best feeling keyboard yet (Have owned like half a dozen atp). The Rapid Trigger feature is the butter of this keyboard and no wonder other manufactures are racing to copy it with their own versions. The Wootility software is really good as well and surprisingly so since many other softwares from name-brands are missing tons of features or have issues. I definitely think Wooting will be King of this space for a long time.

Your Tachyon mode didn't work because you're using a coiled cable
Coiled cables cannot supply the 4.2v required for this keyboard

Use the stock cable or anything within USB specs and you'll be fine

I picked one up 4 or so months back. It is especially useful for helicopter flying because of the analog response curve. Feels nice, quality is good to me (never tried other high end keyboards)
