It’s probably confusing without context so a mini run down:
Kid is clove, woman is his mom, chrysanthemum, and guy with ear wings is faerin. Other guys are all chrysanthemum’s exes and they all try to kill her and she tries to kill them. Going strong for like 16 years already so! In this, they plot to use her own son against her to, well, you know. Hold her down.
