You can disguise one of these slopes as a wall in some levels; that would trick some people.

The reason this happening is the way movement in this game programmed. Usually gamedevs would make XYZ speed values in 3D game and XY in 2D, that isnt constant. And here we see that dev was lazy and was like okay, ill do set speed for X axis without linking it to Y axis. As a result, it works out for set levels, but not for custom. If this was set up properly, you wouldnt be able to fly up on slope, but youll speed down and stop, but design doesnt allow you to stop or slow down
