We choose to accept the message of the Gospel, it is our freewill to make that choice. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. We can reject or receive the message, by our freewill. God is in control, But NOT controlling.

This is right from the Word of God. It doesn't line up with man's foolish understanding, but the God breathed Word said it is true. If you are a foreknew, predestined, called, glorified reborn adopted person then you know this truth... then this is to be great impetuous to praise and worship this merciful grace given God and His Son. Free will can only happen if you can see. So awake you who sleep. Arise from the dead. And Christ will give you light.

Might need to define free will here. You can be fallen and under the effects of sin, but still have a free will. It’s a corrupted and heavily influenced free will because of our sun nature, but we definitely still have a free will
