Why does my video look blurry on my GoPro app? Just got the camera and I'm not sure what to do. I set the preview to 1080 and 30 fps

Just got my Hero 3+ Silver, and looking through the settings, there is 1080p with 50fps, do i need to update to get 60fps. My SD has not arrived yet and i have not set it up on the PC yet? Thank you mate :)
