Zero useful ideas here.
There's ways to remove paint without scratching, and even if you wanted to scratch it out, you could do so (before opening the can) in a minute with a large green scotch brite pad.
To remove the top use a safety can opener. to remove botom use heavy duty scissors (you can grab the bottom at the correct angle).
You can make pots for plants, cups, alcohol stoves, windscreens, singles and a couple more things with soda cans.
