it broke my heart that you removed the original finish. It looked so cool.

It's not a Fender guitar, it's a laminated plywood guitar.

You labeled this as a 1992 Fender Stratocaster. Yet the headstock mysteriously has no logo and is not even the right shape. Come on, dude.

We all know building or buying a new one is much cheaper and easier but we are watching anyway because it's so satisfying.

Yes replace the Strings, the pots, the wiring, the bridge, the neck, and the body. Easy restore.

Great video, I don't question the authenticity of the guitar, the skills required to put old junk into perfect shape and working order are unequivocally authentic and effective, also the video production is outstanding, kudos

Plywood and not a Fender or even Squier I would say. Nevertheless, a calm and soothing video with lots of craftsmanship tips. Heads up!

Great job on all the restorations. So what if it’s not a real Strat! It’s a beautifully restored Fender copy. Much respect for the attention to detail.

When you sand a radius into a neck with a radius sanding block, you don’t want to wrap the sandpaper around the sides of the block because it changes the radius of the final piece due to the sandpaper bending at the edges. You want to glue the sandpaper to the bottom of the block. This will give you a much better radius on the neck. When you are dealing with a small radius like 7.25, changing it the tiniest bit can drastically change the final radius. And you can end up with uneven surfaces where the radius changes randomly. Now I know this is just a YouTube restoration, but if you ever do this for a customer or for your own guitar that you mean to play regularly, use glue.

Ah, the NotFender Plycaster™️ my favorite brand. It's also interesting how the body is all jacked up, yet the internals and wiring look perfectly fine 🤔

Nice work. Fun to watch. Whatever guitar it is. For 97.9% of audiences, as long as you can use it to play “Satisfaction, ” “Stairway to Heaven, ” and “Summer of ‘69, ” you’re good.

Fun to watch these things being refurbished, especially the older stuff, so it can be around another 50-100 years and appreciated.

Ich kann es nicht verstehen, das jemand so ein so tolles Instrument so behandeln kann. Ich könnte heulen wie ein Kind. Toll was Sie damit machen. Alois, der unbecknterste Gitarrist der Welt aus Dortmund 👍❤🎸

Ce n’est pas une Fender! C’est une réplique parmi tant d’autres ! Cela dit bon travail tout de même

If that's a Fender, I'm Leo Fender

ragazzi, oltre a restaurare questa "chitarra" forma simil Stratocaster, il tipo è un vero professionista nelle inquadrature e dettagli, fotografati in maniere eccellente. Bravissimo per l' ottimo set fotografico!!!
