Types of Firewall
Basically, there are two types of firewall: Hardware Firewall and Software Firewall.

Difference between Hardware firewall and Software Firewall:
A Hardware Firewall is a hardware device that is basically placed in the gateway of computer network and this single firewall can protect the entire network from the public network. On the other hand, the Software firewall is software that is installed into your computer by default and it is turned on. Software firewalls can only protect a single computer not the entire network.
