Awesome! I once asked ChatGPT to summarize the bible into 100 words, then 10 words and lastly one word. The result was... LOVE! I did the same with the Quran and the result was... Submission! Pretty interesting I think.

LOL. I just asked "Why do you not know if God is real?" And it said:
_"I don't hold beliefs or opinions because I'm a machine learning model created by OpenAI. My responses are based on patterns in the data I was trained on, and I provide information and explanations based on that data."_
So in reality, it merely reflects the beliefs of those who programmed it.

The thing is, Chat GPT is just going to spit out the answers and arguments that are already over saturated. So with the 3 big arguments, it is going to spit out the arguments that have already been widely propagated by apologists (and similarly the ones that have proved dissatisfying to skeptics the most).

I had an hour long conversation with chatgpt, about whether a man could become a woman. It said yes. I argued. It said maybe, depending on your perspective. I argued. I eventually got it to admit, by using logic, and its own statements, that it is impossible. It agreed. The whole thing was a great way to practice apologetics.

I did this myself once and got it to say that “the evidence was overwhelming, but faith is a mater of opinion”

Baaaahaha I did this too when it was released. Have you tried it with other religions? If you do, I hope you notice the significant bias it has against Christ and for everything else.

I asked Chat GPT a few questions when doing research for my own apologetics channel. Several answers seemed slanted, so I asked for a reference to confirm... and it would outright admit that it gave me false information (falsely attributing quotes to certain people, claiming a famous person is an atheist when they're an outspoken Christian, etc.) This has happened at least 3 times. Always ask it to cite sources for data.

I had a long discussion about the existence of God with Chat GPT too. In the end - after much hesitation, the bot agreed that god is the most likely explanation for the existence of the world. And that there is not really a plausible alternative explanation for the ressurection of Jesus. I found that astonishing.

Some times I get fooled by the thumbnail of YT videos, and it just happen here. I was expecting to and felling strange about ChatGPT denying God's existence. But it was just a mande up thumbnail. Well... you got me.

I utilize ChatGPT's custom instructions feature to assert the lens through which Christianity related questions ought to be answered.

It actually produces extremely nuanced, orthodox and cohesive answers.

If I ask it to exegete a text, it usually is pretty phenomenal. Again, this is because of my custom instructions and not the default behavior but still, extremely impressive nonetheless.

Reminder for all: AI has no intelligence; it's just responding with pre-programmed content augmented with data (not information!) acquired by pre-programmed algorithms. Whenever ChatGPT responds with anything that seems like emotion, intelligence, or wisdom, remember that it's just regurgitating data, not information.

I was shocked to discover that a Christian teacher in one of my FB groups, used ChatGPT to write a biblical integration lesson about The Day of the Dead. This is going to get out of hand, isn't it?
