Is the Deeper Pro Fish Finder useful for Land-based fishing?

In this video we test the Deeper Fish Finder for land-based fishing.
We want to find out if it is really that helpful for freshwater and saltwater fishing from the shore.
So we took it to a lake and to a rock fishing spot to see if we can get a better understanding of the bottom structure and maybe even detect a fish.
