Danny Fairbrass really wasn't sure about using a DEEPER...until he tried it for himself! My lake is 7 acres, which is not big, BUT the average depth is 25ft, going down to 54ft. Probably 120 carp.
That is a lot of water by volume. I used my deeper Pro plus to find them in winter. Every peg I dropped into, zero fish, until one I went into, and found them all at about 60yds out, at between 20- 25 ft in 35 ft of water.
I fished zigs and managed to catch. I would never have caught without using it to find the fish, and then using that info, use the best method to catch them.

I took my mates one over my lake yesterday and mapped half of an 80 foot deep lake out in a day. That is now saved to my phone and found shoals of fish grouping up as it's the winter months. That fact that you can go over all the info you found time after time with all the depths and contours has put my fox swim mapper out of use. Will definitely buy one its incredible. Also bloody good fun as well

on a deeper pro how to change centigrade to fahrenheit ?

I don't have one but can't see people problem with people using them they are just another tool to help complete the puzzle. Not everyone has unlimited time on the bank or is in a baiting team or fishes with mates. So if someone only has four or five hour at a time what's the problem with them shortening their understanding of a water if they aren't directly spoiling someone else's fishing. (I have got one on my letter to Father Christmas)

A lot of people use bait boats with echo sounder remote control or boat with engine . Or rowing out to have look around with a Echo sounder on board to locate fish and plateaus bars gullies? Is that not the same as the deeper pro plus device that you can just cast round on your fishing rod what the problem is if it can help you locate fish when you have only limited time to fish or you don't want to be a bank tramp camping out for days on end. 5 minutes in right swim is better than 2 days is no man's land. I'm sure everybody that goes fishing and has a lake that's they fish would love to see that Lake drained to see what the humps and bumps and plateaus and bars and features that are there ? Which may in Theory help you cracked the code for future success .that's not going to happen but this device will show those features as well as pick up fish on it I wouldn't say it's cheating is just another gadget in our armory because let's get it right the fish keep changing the rules in modern day angling where there is too many people all competing to catch the same fish on the same venue . With some anglers put in 50kg 70 kilos of bait in one hit a lot of people can't do that . I use my deeper Pro Plus the other day for the second time I was not fishing . Just playing around and getting to no the deeper Plus and in about 7 different swims the odd fish then bingo the last swim I found 21 fish some of them look very big on the icon fish finder. the spot I know nobody would fish due to those snuggie area boy in the water. Many years ago sitting behind bite alarms was classed as cheating using a bait boat is cheating ? if you can't cast to it or put bait out to that area is that not cheating? winter time the fish are not on the bottom when you should be using zig rigs on rock hard Lakes that usually shut down after November due to the depth of water the fish are going to be a nightmare to find especially if they don't show on that type of venue . without this device you are not going to find them. But saying that you are still not guaranteed to catch it is just another little gadget to help a bit . I can see in future technology going to one extreme like Fisheries tagging their fish that can be bought up on a sonar device so you can locate certain known fish you want to catch chasing the fish around the Lake river that's when I will probably give up fishing when it gets that silly.

For 200 quid i think this should come with the attachment to attach it to your rod, does a sat nav not come with a cradle? Looks like it would be awkward to use without one and, from a sales point of view it would look more attractive if it was a complete package, throw that in and its deffinitely on my xmas list for locating shoals on these big ol irish loughs, why shouldnt technology be part of your watercraft!
