@LoLoKnight for pointing out how to escape the quick analysis menu and access the convert Values.
Alt + Shift + F10 >> Esc >> Alt + Shift + F10 (again) - convert values menu
Alt + H + N to - fast access number format

Hi, My keyboard doesn't have a menu key but the alternative SHift +F10 keyboard doesn't actually bring up the error box it brings up the menu as if you right clicked. Anyone know the correct alternative keboard shortcut for the error box we are chasing here?

I have the file in which some text is stored in one of column and after applying all these methods it is not getting changed, can you help me in changing that Text to number format.?

In excel 2010 this shortcut opens the quick analysis menu, tho if you press the Esc key and then press alt+menu again you go to the error tab. hope it helps someone...

*Alt+Menu Key+* *C* = Converts Text to Numbers, *I* = Ignore Errors, & * P* = Paste Options (Paste Values) *Alt+Shift+F10* if keyboard doesn't have a Menu Key.
