That is a great question Jay! Something i like to contemplate. A trick is a short moment of diversion that leaves the spectator wondering what you did the diver their attention or make them lose focus. A real moment of magic occurs when you psychologically get into their head and convince them that their was no sleight or diversion.

Excellent color changes Jay! That’s SUCH a good question too! For me, a trick is something that someone performs and the audience reacts and often times forgets about quickly. Magic on the other hand involves theater, it is highly engaging, and it brings the audience or individual into a different world for however brief a time and makes them remember it.
