My theory as to how the card works:
The card has several layers, the regular red layer on the back, and a transparent layer on the front with the card design in white printed on it. Inside the card is a strip of material that has a blue/red fade with a piece of metal/magnet on it.
This material is in a loop inside the card.
As he pushes the card across the magnet, the material inside the card rotates. Because the "rider" card back is printed on clear cellophane on the front of the card, it appears the card is changing colors.

That card is not the regular one used by everybody. This is specially made to change color over a magnet which was not explained.

Okay. People complained too much on how the magnet affects the card. Well, the earth has a magnetic north pole (and of course a magnetic south pole). When the card goes past the magnet, it thinks it is going from the magnetic southern hemisphere past the equator. In July the northern hemisphere is supposed to be hot so the card turns red because it is supposed to feel hot right? When it slips back to the magnetic southern hemisphere it feels like it is freezing so it turns blue again. In December the hemispheres switch places. I gave you the short version of how this works.

There is definitely more to this than just using a magnet. Is it a joke? Seriously, I don't get why the video title claims it's explained, but there is a huge step left out. Like....what special gimmick is being used along with the magnet? It's not just a blue card and a magnet.
