Hey Robby. There is an assumption that the crankshaft seals were worn out. The crankcase is not tight enough. Try replacing them. in many cases, it helped. Good luck!

Hey folks I’m a stihl certified mechanic there is a couple grounds that need to be checked 1 is on the left side of engine where that metal plate is the covers the wiring then there is one on the engine sensor (bottom screw) don’t forget the wires that go from generator to the controller (old style is separate wires black and blue look for rubbing and black spots on crankcase there may be bare wire that will shut you down newer models have heat shrink on wires, correct spark plug will make a difference

I have same problem. Replaced flywheel and coil...they were worn but that never fixed problem. Replaced kill switch and I got spark. BUT still takes many many pulls to get ignition. Not sure if it is fuel supply issue? Saw same video pulling on module wires, mine are all fine. Did you ever determine final fix on this? thanks for the video.

Hi how can you replace the throttle locking spring as it pop out when I replace the throttle cable

Had The Same Issue Was a Bad Fuel Injector Valve Value Out of Range Code 0812 MDS-1 Scan Tool I Have Tore The Saw Down and Replaced The Injector and Fuel Lines as a Kit and Flushed The Tank and installed The New Orange Finer Micron Replacement Filter and Fired on 1st Pull After 😎👍🏼 I’m a Stihl Dealer Tech Hope it Helps
