You can also buy a adapter kit for your garden hose and hook it directly to the gas tank to flush it out. If that does work just change the muffler bearings

I love this.. using quick start on a small saw is like lighting a birthday cake with a stick of dynamite. This is what keeps small engine mechanics in buisness

Most of the time, especially 2 stroke motors, they won't start because of a flooded engine. Just have someone pull the cord, while another is holding the throttle down while the choke is off. This will start releasing a little of the fuel flooding the motor while letting air in. Flooded motors won't start because there's not enough air to ignite the fuel with and in order for fuel to ignite you need along with spark and compression.

Because 2 stroke motors intake threw the exhaust as well at times ...this way u don't have to take saw apart to spray starter fluid ...also using it in moderation has never hurt anything I've used it on to help start. Even disesls

awesome....this was clear as mud. i guess this stihls intake is in the exhaust bolt holes.
choke on till it pops, turn choke off and it starts. real simple.
if it doesnt, then theres something wrong with the machine....or the operator.
