I've coaching music producer for a while and the biggest improvement they needed is to make them being able to make an interesting arrangement of sounds so they will have a nice and full sound in the mix. In this video I'd like to give some tips on how to do it. Enjoy!

The way you teach important knowledge and tricks
and still keep your videos entertaining, interesting, funny,
is unbelievable.
Nine minutes feel like nothing.
I like that more than a lot

After several hours [minus 90 min lunch] of research I have discovered that Dan's Bassface was the original model who sat for the Mona Lisa. The painting was changed at a later date following a blazing argument which forever soured the relationship. Leonardo had expressed doubt over the virtue of multiband compression using brick wall filters and 30db of gain which so enraged Dan's Bassface that it made off with the renaissance man's only flying machine!

My personal take on "boring" music is that you just have to work through it. Fuck the chord structure and melody, if it isn't working, stop using it. I try to work on things till I have a decent demo, and then work from there. The best thing i've ever done, is play along with my track. Have a loop set up and start playing over it. It doesn't matter what the synths etc sound like, try to get some life into the music. I'm a total novice at music theory etc too, but I just hit keys until something makes sense.

It's put my music (or my artist name) at a deficit for "definition" of what it is, but it's been so much more fun than the way I used to produce. Please just have fun, experiment and enjoy the process, guys.

this is super cool! Might I suggest as another important way to spice up the music is to automate. For example, you could automate the pluck sound so that the envelope gradually opens, or gets brighter, etc. Also, I forgot how great an organ can sound in electronic music! Sounds sick layered with the pad.

Can I get this track somewhere? It keeps playing in my head on repeat.

Is there a reason/preference (I'm assuming there is) on why you use the older version of Operator?

Really good points - actually, in a weird way, the music reminds me of Bernard Fevre!
