Explore the fascinating story of the KBC Void, a massive cosmic bubble that might solve the Hubble tension—the ongoing mystery of the universe's expansion rate. Discover how this underdense region could explain the difference between early and local measurements of the Hubble constant and what it means for our understanding of dark energy and cosmology. Is our galaxy’s location reshaping our view of the universe? Find out in this engaging episode. Watch now to uncover the mysteries of the cosmos!

This could help explain the fermi paradox, if we are in a dark void where there is "nothing", then no one would be expecting us here nor look here to find or visit us.

The more we find out, the more we realize that we don’t know very much.

I suppose being in a void would make it somewhat safer here in the long term, less galaxies, less collisions, less debris endangering planets where life develops.
But if Humanity exists long enough to zoom up the Kardeshev Scale...other than the Adromedans next door, we're not going to have much in the way of neighbours, and, if we ever outgrow our galaxy, little room for expansion. Our present 'adolescent' state will only last so long before we evolve to higher thinking and the technological capabilities to match. So, once we move away from our present violent, greedy, untidy, irrational mode, continuing with our fascination for exploration beyond our galaxy might be a bit difficult.

A local void would explain a lot. The one thing it wouldn’t explain is how they didn’t see it until now.

I think we just misread the galactic road signs put there by advanced alien 👽 civilizations. We thought they said with regard to our neighborhood: “EARTH AHEAD: A VOID”. But they really said: “EARTH AHEAD: AVOID”.

Wow!...alone in a void!....but now I feel quite lonely...

I'm thinking that their model looks a lot like the models of our human neural networks.

That's the big bang spot. I told em to look again, and look at that. They listened. Thank you.

We all live on the edge of time down to the moment or the smallest measurement of time we travel or kind of tumble through all of our realities but always stuck at the edge of time where future and past must intersect. The universe is always behind us.

No I think that's fascinating you know so the Milky Way exist in a void and I guess it makes sense that you know matter outside the void distorts are measurements of the Hubble constant so perhaps this is the beginning of a a new investigative Direction and astrophysics which I find fascinating

It's the event horizon of a cosmic rabit hole. And we are going to have our minds blown by what we will learn.

Info not enough on Hubble variants alone.can you project on 27 cosmic constants and share here as update?

I've come to believe we are living in a Great Void.

Difference between 2 h.c. could be caused by differences between quantum physics and big universe (distances).⭐

I think the voids are an indication of our universe ending

Surely the comic web is what creates voids so concentrate on that not the gaps it creates.

I feel like when you see a bright light you wonder is that a galaxy or a star. But what if we could see galaxies in the sky. Should we be able to or is it just another quality of rim void life
