Tom, you, and folks like Gilles, and Clint in the UK really perform a great service keeping interest in Shortwave alive with your videos. It just takes a Radio, a good antenna, and propagation to coax in what’s out there - and there is a lot to be heard. The newer generation of radios are sensitive, affordable, and fun. Keep putting these out, they mean a lot to us.

Good review on SW activity. A fella has to be online at the right time and lately the CB band is hopping with skip
and so is the 10 meter band. The CB band is all but dead in this area when the skip is not running and years
ago you could hear farmers chatting away for hours at night. During harvest season is when that band gets
active. I am not hearing much on 2 meters and the repeaters anymore. The 75 meter band is usually good in
the early morning in this area. Thanks for your review.

The signals are still there, just a bit more finicky.
I have noticed the background noise increasing, a good reason to make sure that antenna is grounded well.

My short wave is dogged by s6 to s9 digital noise across the short wave bands amateur hf is all but useless, but I have found a nitch on the old medium wave band, I built a mw loop and am actually getting good results with mw dx broadcast stations. Vhf uhf amateur radio analogue is all but dead, there is a bit of activity on hubnet but it's same ol same ol and the conversion from digital to analogue isn't that good, nice update thanks for taking the time to upload it good dx. 73

I NEVER will. But I think maybe my new Tecsun S2000 may have given up on ME:-( Maybe if I can save for some Loop antenna to hide in my back yard that my HOA can't see...
