I'm a combat vet of Operation Iraqi Freedom in my 40s. Got chills and cried at this since my wife went through the same thing at 17 weeks. She lost her ammniotic fluid. Doctors gave us the option of inducing a birth which oviously would result in the death of the 100% compromised fetus, or have my wife lay in bed and hope for the best for months or weeks until the inevitable happened. She choose to deliver. It was painful for her both physically and emotionally but the sooner it was done the sooner we could heal.
This was in Florida years ago. If this happened today here in Fl we would only get the dangerous, costly, and emotionally devastating second option.

Exactly... every person voting should see this. He took a medical procedure to save lives and made it illegal. A politician should never have been allowed to dictate medical care. Saying they are pro-family is so hypocritical.

I lost a pregnancy at 16 weeks. Because my body had not started the process of expelling the fetus, and due to the risk of sepsis, one day after the ultrasound confirming the loss I was in the OR getting a D and C. I live in Oregon, and if this happened tomorrow, I would still have the same options and care. It is morally indefensible that this woman was allowed to suffer and almost die. Abortion care is health care. End of story.

I seldom pay attention to ads, but this one...I felt her pain. I will never understand the cruelty of politicians of a certain party. I plan to vote down ballot BLUE. Protect a woman's right to make her very personal reproductive decisions. Enough of this insane cruelty!!!

Womens Reproductive Healthcare is non negotiable - women must have the equal right to jointly control her care with her provider - the exact same freedom men have. No state or federal government has any role in reproductive health decisions of any individual.

I don't have children (by choice) but this makes me so sad and angry knowing she could have had the treatment she needed and might have had a better chance to get pregnant again. I can't imagine that loss, these struggles and the emptiness of never being able to mother a child because others think they can decide what's best for your body. And how cruel must it be for doctors who swore an oath and are not able to fulfill it or are too scared because they are threatened with prosecution. That's so sick.
