I remember my mom having the exact music box way back on 2010, but I do believe she got that even before that time. I'd always play the box whenever I see it, good memories.

I use to have this same exact box! It was given to me by one of my favorite aunts. This brings back so many memories♥️ I would give anything to have it back. I never thought I’d see it again. Thank you for sharing

Mia nonna ne aveva uno esattamente identico a questo quando ero piccola e quando lo aprivo pensavo sempre a mio nonno..mi piaceva anche quando cadendo si ruppe lo sportelletto chiudibile dello specchio ...poi dopo il terremoto dell'Aquila è andato perduto...vederlo in funzione mi ha portato indietro nel tempo, bellissimo ricordo...ho amato e amo questo oggetto per quello che rappresenta, nonostante siano passati molti anni ❤

Yeah in my family I seem to be the only one who even remembers this music box when I was about 3 so that was back in 83 and the box was manufactured in 81. Its sad how we lost it we lived in a bad neighborhood and are house was burglarized so things like the box which had my fathers wedding ring in it were stolen and never recovered. I thought about buying a replacement for my mother but like the poster said these boxes are very rare today and hard to find but good things come to those who wait tnx 4 posting.

My grandmother had this music box, and I had a crib mobile that played "Teddy Bear's Picnic".

oh my god. My grandmother had one just like this!! I used to play with it all the time. I'm so shocked to see this, it's the exact same model. I do remember having a little ballerina too that was supposed to dance in the middle of the swans.

I have faint feelings I've seen this music box before at home or another place. I was very young, but the dancing swans and painted mirrored background are familiar.
