Показать описание
This video features lottery winners claiming prizes, while hiding in costume. It is narrated by Powerball winner and podcast host, Timothy Schultz.
In October of 2022, there is a man in China who won the lottery and claimed the prize wearing a bright yellow cartoon costume. He was known only by the pseudonym name of Li. On October 21st, the man purchased 40 lottery tickets using the same set of numbers and won an astonishing 40 times! Li won $765,000 per ticket, which totaled a prize of $30.6 million or 219 million Yuan. When claiming this massive jackpot, he wore a costume to keep it secret from his wife and his kid; it's reported that he was afraid it would make them lazy or feel superior to others if they knew he had won the lottery. After taxes and donating part of his prize, Li took home $24 million or 171 million Yuan.
In February of 2019, a Jamaican lottery winner claimed the prize wearing a Scream mask. The man only was identified by the name, A. Campbell; he claimed his giant check wearing a Ghostface mask from the horror movie, Scream. This lucky winner scored over $1.2 million dollars. He took 54 days to claim the prize, nearing the deadline and then wore a mask; his goal was to keep his identity private. The winner of this scary prize was reportedly going to use the money to invest into a house.
