Also as an aside, I also 100% recommend the manga adaption. It actually surpasses vn in certain critical ways and uses the manga medium perfectly. Nasu has said in the past that he considers it a companion to the original vn. And has even said he considers the author a rival.

Another example: Was just replaying the Arc route the other day and this scene caught me off guard lmao, it's in the second to last day and Shiki threatens Ciel that he's gonna straight up rape her if she doesn't take him to the school to fight Roa it's so random and she just smiles like "Zamn silly goofball Shiki at it again"

I feel like Nasu never gives a shit when writing the first route of any VN lmao
