2:27:45- This moment is incredibly beautiful for me. For the longest time, Shiki has lived his life with a profound and intimate understanding of the finite nature of existence, how everything and everyone has a "death." He's been terrified of getting close to people as a result of this, and it's made it hard for him to get through life. And now, this beautiful, impossible being appears before him, her form completely unblemished by the everpresent lines that have haunted him for years; a truly eternal existence. No wonder he becomes so enthralled with Arcueid.

2:32:56- This moment, where Arcueid realizes who made these glasses and becomes completely serious when she asks Shiki if they are in the city, really speaks to Aoko's power as a True Magician. Even a True Ancestor does not want to risk tangling with her if it can be avoided.
