NASA JAXA Global Precipitation Measurement Mission Launches from Japan with Post Launch Comments

The Global Precipitation Measurement launched on Feb. 27, 2014 at 1:37 pm EST, from Tanegashima Space Center in Japan on a mission that will set a new standard for precipitation measurements from space.
