RS-6: firewhistle can replace horn, but mon3tr will finish the last enemies top right, mine is maxed out
RS-7: if you're not confident that eyja will survive bc she is lower level, just deploy any ranged units below her to draw fire
RS-8: if you are GG-less like me, dont go for exusiai, go for texas/yato, they can light up the towers, prioritize the bottom one, since the top one is in a ''heat zone''(just behind mlynar), you can deploy any melee unit of those you're using to farm trust to light up the tower again, you can use the trigger only on the middle one if needed, for instance i used ceobe to replace GG, with this the amount of units for this trust farm doesnt really change, also i used whisperain to replace lumen, not that i dont have him, i like her more, so it means other medics can work as well

- No ifrit tile here, she can't lit the furnaces in an instant and more likely to get CCed.
- Always let ur furrnace closest to blue box get lit, so that ur dpses can light up remaining furnaces (5:57), if all furnaces are unlit, u are more likely to lose!
- Kill as much elite as possible before Harold appear (at 6:33) due to his aoe healing
- If u wanna stall, make sure that the furnace he target is lit over and over again everytime he extinguish it, just like kristen boss.
- It is advised to spawncamp him (or kill him away from the 3 furnaces on the right), otherwise, be prepared to relit all the extinguished furnaces when he reach phase 2, since the closer he is to blue box, the more furnaces he shut down!
Example: Killing Harold first phase at the left of Golgenglow result in his icy shockwave extinguishing all home base furnaces, which means game over.
- Stalling in phase 2 is far far worse, not only do u have to relit 2 furnaces, u have to ensure as much furnaces are lit as possible when Harold execute the global range "snowball mortar" attack. Number of mortar hit will be *equal to number of unlit furnace plus one* . The snowball mortar is magic, so Nightingale is a thing.
=> Try to time properly when u wanna attempt to quarter Harold hp bar in phase 2. He always did "Snowball mortar" total of 3 times, even in ex (10:54, 11:11 and 12:15)
- Hurting Harold is fairly simple and straightforward: lit all the furnaces before starting all ur dps skills against him, but holding ur frontline defense against his constant attempt of *aoe spam, furnace shutdown (meaning shield layer regeneration)* is a REAL challenge!
- Some of u ( prob. even Leon ) think Harold charging mortar + all furnaces lit is safe. *It's not* . Even an unlit furnace during his charging animation will increase his instances of mortar shot, vice versa. In short, *Harold mortar ammo does NOT snapshot.*

- Harold is scared of *both true n elemental* dmg.

U can also use ifrit, mountain and typhoon for rs-7.

U have to deploy ifrit first in eyja position and light up the heater.

Wait for 10 second and deploy mountain next to the heater.

Deploy typhoon on top middle and turn on the left heater.( U can deploy typhoon even if the lighter is on cd just to prepare her skill)

Use the remaining heater to wake up those freezing enemies

Worst part about the boss stage (rs8) is that it has rng, that means the auto deploy will fail a lot💀

I did RS-8 with Thorns, Horn, Ceobe, and Texas, with the rest being healers. It's a pretty easy stage.

Thorns where Mylnar is facing left.
Ceobe facing down where Goldenglow is.
Texas where Monster is, then replace with Horn facing Left.
Healers on the Sigils.
When Texas is up again, place her behind Thorns facing up.
Then Afk and a bit more F2P Friendly. I'll update this in a bit.

Regarding RS-8 instability for auto. Make sure to monitor auto play and wait until boss targets furnace behind golden glow on his 2nd phase, then take over the control, use lighter on that furnace and just activate Mlynars skill as per guide. Make sure to update auto play after this, and you will get 100% stabile auto.

for RS-8 if you dont have Goldenglow Gnosis can also reach all 3 heaters when placed in the middle position as well save s3 for when He needs to hit them hit 2 heaters at once.

Feels good when you only check 8th stage for a quick boss tip because Kyo taught you how to play arknights in general. Pretty nice and easy event

*RS-6* I don't have Horn so I replaced her with Typhon S3, put her together with Kalsit facing up, the bullets did all the work

If you want the medal for RS-6 and don't have Kal'tsit, you can use Lappland behind a defender near the blue box (and a healer besides the heater) to silence the Jet Canister mobs.

For RS-7 if you have degen and want to save another trust farm slot you can use her instead of mlynar, place her in the right tile of where he is, when her skill is ready activate any of the two furnaces near her and use it she should be able to kill all frozen mobs except the bottom left one because of her range.

Later you can activate the middle furnace to wake up early the middle frozens mobs and kill them, when you redeploy her do it on the same tiles as the beginning, turn on the furnace near her and when the caster come around her skill range activate her skill. It work perfectly fine at S3M3 I don't know for below.

RS-7 you do it duo with just kalset (skill 3 m3 e2 lvl 90i) and degen (e2 lvl 90 skill 3 m0) place degen the tile above where monster goes, then place kalset and monster (so the caster attacks monster, you should have time to get everyone down before anything happens) then just use degen skill 3 when a big clump of enemies are in range

To help mitigate the RNG on RS-8:

I followed Kyo's strat using fast redeploys instead of a sniper, per his suggested modification, then I took Exusiai S3. You can either deploy her NW of the medic's furnace facing right if you're using a medic that can heal that tile, or you can deploy her above Kal'Tsit facing down. Either way, her S3 activation should be burst enough to reactivate the furnace behind GG, regardless if she herself is getting frozen. You give up one more Trust slot, but it should eliminate the RNG factor. I've been running that on auto and I haven't had a failure yet.

Might be a little prone to rng failure, but I got RS-7 working with Skalter and Exalter. Had to use one of the trust farm units to keep the heater on and another to eat an ice ball, but otherwise it's working pretty well.

Something fun to do if you recently decided to max Exalter out for some reason.
