I started watching the "How to" videos before I got a bike and it helped a TON when I took it to the track.
Watch them every now and then just to keep if fresh and remind myself of what I'm suppose to do and to keep improving!
I'd say heavy dirt is my favorite so far, just a ton of fun having that back wheel whip out and drift around the corners.

My parents can’t afford coaching because they spend so much on transportation and track time. These videos are all I got and they’re all I need. Thanks for the help on making my dreams come true.

You guys should do a video in depth on attack position and comparisons maybe showing teaching someone proper attack position. Other channels have done them but you can do it better! Lot of newer riders treat the throttle like they are on a street bike and ride elbows down driving the wrist down for throttle, not squeezing with the legs, and toes out while cornering etc. would be cool to see in depth slo-mos if right vs wrong.

Side note: all the people I have introduced to the sport I preach the mandatory importance of good boots, good knee braces, good helmet, and getting your suspension setup for weight. All are things that make the learning process safer. MX is not a sport you can halfheartedly get into!

I just kind of jumped on the bike and sent it...
Then I bought a helmet
Then my bike
Then my boots and gloves
Then a jersey and pants
Now I race...

His way sounds like it would have been way easier...😂😂😂

I like semi-packed dirt. Not too hard but not sandy either.

Transportation is huge to think about before you jump in. This is no longer the 80s, where you could easily find places to ride. One option that was not mentioned is a small, open utility trailer. They get the job done, are budget friendly, and don't need a big vehicle to pull. An enclosed trailer is obviously better, but a little open trailer will get-r-done, too.

Ive found a love for mud, driving through streams and shallow rivers along the trail. Not really knowing what youre riding over is a rush. Just a trail rider, but hoping to improve and get into real motocross.

There isn't really a better activity to get yourself into than riding. on road is relaxing and you experience everything so much more.off-road can be intense and is great exercise.
